Cathy Mckinnon Lamonds

Cathy McKinnon Lamonds,57, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Atrium Health in Albemarle.

Services will be held at a later date.

Cathy was born February 19, 1964 in Montgomery County. She was the daughter of David and Eunice Nichols McKinnon. Cathy loved spending time with her granddaughter Elania, who was the love of her life. She enjoyed fishing with her husband and spending time together on their pontoon boat. Cathy was known for having a green thumb and loved her flowers and plants. Cathy worked as an assistant manager over the food service in the cafeteria at Mt. Gilead Elementary School with 20 years of service and also worked at Rexall Drug Store in Mt. Gilead.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Warren Lamonds of the home; daughter, Tiffany Harris (Josh); granddaughter, Elania Harris.  She is preceded in death by her son, Aaron McKinnon.
