Cary "Blossom" Elizabeth (Griffin) Harris

Cary Elizabeth Griffin Nassif Harris "Blossom", 94, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully Wednesday, November 2, 2022.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, November 28, 2022 at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church, officiated by Rev. Robert E. Button and Rev. Jim Morgan.  The family will receive friends following the service. Born on July 19, 1928, in Unionville, NC, she was the daughter of Joseph Boyd Griffin and Mary Pauline Martin Griffin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband’s, Edward Paul Nassif, Sr. and Arthur Robert Harris. She is survived by her three children, Ed Nassif (Barbara), Terry Nassif (Edith) and Elizabeth Nassif Gibson (Larry); her four grandchildren, Burt Nassif (Elizabeth), Mark Nassif (Miranda), Erin Gibson Parks (Taylor) and Samantha Nassif Berg (Tae); eight great-grandchildren, Aliya Nassif, Ward Nassif, Brody Nassif, Micah Nassif, Nora Parks, Macie Parks, Liam Berg and Henley Berg. Blossom was a longtime educator for over 30 years.  She had a fondness for flowers, birds and animals.  Her motto was "Be Happy". She set a great example of living and loving well, and she was an inspiration to many during her life.
