Mrs. Carrie Taylor Barrington, 73, formerly of Scotland County died Wednesday March 15, 2006.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Jerry Smith and Rev. Phillip Tipton. Burial will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery, Gibson.
Born June 26, 1932 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Thurgood and Carrie Brigman Taylor. She worked in textiles until her retirement.
She is survived by her son, Nathan Barrington and his wife, Elice of Folkston, GA; one sister, Kathleen Lowery of Springfield; four grandchildren, Marcus Barrington, Amy Barrington, Billie Jean Boone and Becky Tipton; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Franklin Barrington, Sr.
Visitation is Friday 7-9 pm at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
