PEMBROKE – Ms. Carolyn Davis Martin, 58, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, in Morrison Manor Hospice in Laurinburg.
The family will conduct a memorial service on March 27 in Lincolnton, North Carolina.
She is survived by a daughter, Vanessa Romano (Christopher) of Hope Mills, NC; a son, Barry Lee Thomas (Donna) of Blacksburg, SC; six brothers, Robert Davis and Johnny Davis of Abington, VA, Ernest Davis and Steve Davis of High Point, NC, Larry Davis of Greensboro, NC, and Lonnie Davis of Lincolnton, NC; three sisters, Jean Thomas (C.W.) of Lincolnton, NC, Peggy Vass (Garnett) of Roanoke, VA, and Teresa Cashett of Greensboro, NC; five grandchildren, Gregory Scott Lutz, Justin Lee Carr, Amber Lasha Smith, Kaylee Hope Thomas and Brianne Rose Thomas.
Born March 27, 1951 in Abington, VA, she was a daughter of the late Wendell R. and Tiny Powers Davis. She was a retired caregiver.
