Carolyn Ann Davidson

Carolyn Ann Davidson, 75 of Laurinburg, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

A Celebration of Life service for Carolyn will be held by the family at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Cross Pointe Church, officiated by the Rev. Mike Edds and Rev. Jason Watson.

Born May 7, 1943 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Elijah P. and Ethel Mae Hamilton Davidson.  She worked as a telephone operator with Southern Bell for 23 years and in Quality Control with Campbell Soup Company.

She is survived by her daughters, Susan Hudson of Laurinburg, Sherrie Wentz of Spartanburg SC, Wanda Wentsil of Gibson, and Brenda Carter of Pembroke; a grandson, Kelly M. Hudson; a granddaughter, Misty Lynn Hudson and her fiance, Hakeem Morrison; a host of other grandchildren and great grandchildren; two great nieces; and two great nephews.  She is preceded in death by a daughter, Deena Spaulding; and her brothers and sisters, Clarice Gau, Curtis Davidson, Philip Davidson, Richard Davidson and Calene Kaustashack.

McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
