Mrs. Carolyn Miller Campbell, 84, Laurinburg died Sunday January 28, 2007 at Morrison Manor.
A memorial service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Neal Carter and Rev. Elizabeth Forester will officiate.
Born November 30, 1922 in Kingstree, SC she was a daughter of the late William Cook and Lillie Brunson Miller. She was a member of the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church for over 50 years. She enjoyed sewing and cross-stitch and was formerly employed with Toastmaster. She was preceded in death by her husband Rupert Carlisle Campbell and a son, Bill "Fisherman" Campbell.
She is survived by her daughter Joyce Campbell of Laurinburg; grandsons Greg Campbell of Charlotte and Aaron Campbell of Raleigh. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, three sisters-in-law, and several loving nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
