Mr. Carl A. Grover, Jr. 72, formerly of Punxsutawney, PA died in his home on January 17, 2000. He was born in Nescopeck, PA, the son of the late Carl and Hazel Grover.
Mr. Grover was the owner and operator of Punxsutawney 7-UP Bottling Company from 1954 until 1972. He served on the Punxsutawney School District School Board, and was a member of the Rotary Club and Jaycees.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg officiated by the Rev. Jerry Lowery of Sunset Beach, NC.
Mr. Grover is survived by his wife, Mary Thomas McLeod Grover; two daughters. Laura Grover of Meadville PA and Mary Lawrence Grover of Clyde, NC; one granddaughter, Brendal Alice Davis of Meadville, PA.
