Carl Eugene Grant

Mr. Carl Grant, 88 of Laurinburg, (formerly of Chester, S.C.) passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

Born June 9, 1932 in Chester, S.C., he was a son of the late Thomas Furman and Abbie Hudson Grant.  After serving four years in the Navy, he worked many years and retired from Abbott Laboratories in Laurinburg.

He is preceded in death by Jerolyn (Jerry) Grant his wife of 63 years as well as five brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his son, Joe Grant and wife Debbie, his daughter Kathy Grant, all of Laurinburg. His sister-in-law Eleanor H. Benson of Blackstock, S.C.; two grandchildren, Haley Powell and Chad Cole; seven great grandchildren and loving nieces and nephews.
