Carl Lee Dunn

Carl Lee Dunn, 66, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Kannapolis, NC.

A graveside service will be Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery, 1715 Pleasant Grove Church Rd., Mt. Gilead, officiated by Rev. Tom Mauldin.  Due to COVID 19 the service will be live streamed on our Facebook page.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Mr. Dunn was born in Montgomery County, September 28, 1953, a son of the late Carmie and Mamie Dunn.  He loved to hunt and ride his tractor.  He was a farmer.  He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Dunn of Kannapolis; a son, Carl Lee Dunn, Jr. of Thickety Creek; three grandchildren, Bradley Lee Dunn, Clark Lee Dunn and MacKenzie LeeAnn Dunn; half-sister, Betty Thomas of Rockingham.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of forty-six years, Betty Turner Dunn; his siblings, Carolyn Dunn, Lois Goodwin, Joe Dunn and Bud Bailey.
