Mr. Carl Duncan Carter, 56, of Supply died Sunday at Brunswick Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
Born August 22, 1944 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Carl B. and Elizabeth Jackson Carter. He was a self- employed painter.
He is survived by his wife; Nancy Stamper Carter of Kannapolis, one daughter; Rebecca Hunsucker of Salisbury, four sons; Richard Carter of Holden Beach, Carl D. Carter, Jr., Jerry A. Carter and Edward Clarence Carter all of Kannapolis, three sisters; Mary Floyd of Myrtle Beach, SC, Elizabeth Parker of China Grove and Pat Wetter of Concord, one brother; David Carter of Columbia, SC and Fourteen grandchildren.
The family will be receiving friends from 12 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
