Bryce Gabriel Hernandez

Miracle Baby, Bryce Gabriel Hernandez, 9 months, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at UNC Chapel Hill hospital.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Exway Baptist Church in Mt. Gilead, officiated by Rev. Mike Helms. The family will receive friends Friday, October 22, 2021 at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please practice social distancing and wear a mask or another form of face covering.

Bryce was born December 28, 2020 in Moore County. He is the son of Carlos and Christine Downer Hernandez of the home. Bryce was always a happy, bright child that brought joy to everyone who met him. He loved anything Mickey Mouse.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Lily Marie Hernandez of the home; paternal grandparents, Wilfredo Hernandez and Maria Torres of Biscoe; maternal step-grandfather, Daniel Gardner and maternal grandmother, Tissie Gardner, both of Mt. Gilead; maternal grandfather, Wayne Downer and maternal step-grandmother, Lynn Downer of Rockingham; uncle, Wil Hernandez (Gabby) of Raeford; aunt, Michelle Hernandez of Biscoe; cousins, Brandon and Brianna of Biscoe.
