Mr. Bryant Russell Stevens, 93, of 9302 Hwy 74 died Wednesday, September 17, at Pinelake Healthcare Center, Carthage, NC.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Laurel Hill United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Keith Brown.
Burial will follow in the Wright Cemetery.
He is survived by a daughter, Joyce Thomasson of Cameron; a step-son, James Pearson of Laurel Hill; four grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
Born August 31, 1910 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Frank M. and Modie Lee Stevens and widower of the late Sadie Smith Stevens. He was a US Army veteran of World War II, serving in Europe. He was a retired salesman at Patea
