Brian Keith Morris

Brian Keith Morris, 54, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Carolinas Medical Center.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Macedonia United Methodist Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Bill Knapp. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, please practice social distancing and wear a mask or another form of face covering. Brian will lie in repose at the Macedonia United Methodist Church in Troy from 2:00–3:00 pm prior to the service at the church.

Born July 11, 1966 in Anderson County, SC, he is a son of Benson and Janie Russell Morris of Troy. Brian was a long-time employee of the family business, Morris Tire Service of Troy, owner of the Wholesale Tire Distributors in Star, the owner and operator of the Circle M Livestock and Tack, and the owner of Anytime Carwash in Troy. Brian enjoyed playing golf and tennis, hunting, football, basketball, and horses. He loved being outdoors.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren who he loved dearly.  Brian spent a large part of his life; showing, riding, breeding, training, and selling horses. He was a devoted dad to his 5-year-old son Charlie and loved the challenge of raising him with Amy. He was also an avid lifetime sportsman. Brian was a member of the Macedonia United Methodist Church, American Paint Horse Association, and American Quarter Horse Association. Throughout his life, he loved the fellowship with his horse friends and family, and the horse industry was a big part of his life.

Along with his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Amy Callicutt of the home; son, Charlie Morris of the home; daughters, Micaela Rush (Tyler) of Troy, and Lauren Morris (Bryan Williams) of Star; three grandchildren, Brantley, Oliver, and Theodore Williams; brother, Chad Morris (Amy) and their children, Madison and Avery Morris of Mt. Gilead.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Clem and Louise Morris and Jettie Russell.
