Brian Shane Blackman (Grooms), 36, died Friday, October 19, 2012.
A graveside service will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery near Hasty.
He is survived by his wife, Chrissy Blackman; his son, Kevin Hunt of Laurinburg; his daughters, Katie Baldwin of West End, Shana Blackman of Fairmont, Megan Hardin and Brianna Blackman of Laurinburg; his mother, Brenda Grooms of West End; his brothers, Dondivan Heffner of Asheville, Jeffery Hyatt of Wadesboro, and David Grooms of Detroit; his sisters, Tina Wilkes and Shannon LeGrand of Laurel Hill; his grandmother, Allie Airhart of Raeford; 4 uncles and 4 aunts.
Visitation will be 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
