Brandon Michael Thompson

Brandon Michael Thompson, 32, of Troy passed away on December 13th, 2022.

Born September 19th, 1990, he is the son of Ronald Dorsett and Rebecca Thompson. He attended West Montgomery High School and lived in Montgomery County for the majority of his life.

Brandon was free-spirited and enjoyed many outdoor activities/ adventures. He could often be seen riding ATVs through trails near home, fishing on the lake or at the river, or occasionally hunting; he was a country boy at heart. Brandon also enjoyed working on cars and shooting a few rounds of pool. He was a very kind and loving individual that rarely met a stranger. It wasn't unlike him to introduce a close friend as a sibling or cousin, adopting them right into his family. He loved spending time with each member of his large family whenever he could. With the ability to pick up a conversation like only minutes had passed even if it had been years. His children truly were his pride and joy. He would share stories and photographs of them any chance he could. His endless love, light, and contagious laughter are sure to be missed.

He is survived by his children, Skylar Thompson and Kayden Thompson; mother, Rebecca Thompson Morse; siblings, Aaron Thompson, Lindsey Morse, Megan Morse, Cameron Thompson, Ariana Greer, Mariana Greer, Brittney Dorsett, Makayla Dorsett; maternal grandparents, Curtis and Yvonne Thompson; paternal grandparents, Nathan and Helen Dorsett; nephews, Levi, Ayden, and Gage. He is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Dorsett.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service on Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 2:00pm.
