Bobby Ray Stoker

Bobby Ray Stoker, 89, of Troy passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

A funeral service will be held Monday, November 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Laurel Hill Baptist Church in Candor, officiated by Rev. Todd Roseman. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service in Troy.

Born November 9, 1935, in Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Elsi and Grace Vanhoy Stoker. Bobby was a wonder husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, landscaping, and working outside.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen Blake Stoker, of the home; son, Randy Edwin Stoker (Shirley) of D’lberville, MS; daughters, Lisa S. Haywood (Chuck) and Lynn S. Barton (Bruce), both of Mt. Gilead; brother, Gerald Stoker (Joann), of Fort Mill, SC; sister, Rita Fann, of Greensboro; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Stoker and Allen Stoker; and sister, Brenda Parsons.
