Billy Charles Lewis, 65 of Blues Farm Rd, Laurinburg, passed away Monday, May 16, 2016 at his home. He was a native of Marlboro, SC.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Barney Emerson Lewis and Naomi Gibson Lewis.
Over the years he worked at Woodard Furniture, Fieldcrest Cannon Mills and Sapoka as a buyer. He loved to hunt and fish and especially loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Joyce Kinter Lewis, of the home; two sons, Charles Corley of Salisbury, NC and Curt (Timmery) Rogers of Lexington, NC; two daughters, Crystal (Mitchell) Locklear of Maxton, NC and Tina Patterson of the home; brother, B.E. (Diana) Lewis of FL and sister, Betty (Tracy) Gibson of Laurinburg; a host of nieces and nephews; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Billy's life will be held at a later date. The family will be welcoming friends at their residence.
