Billy Lee Horne

Mr. Billy Lee Horne, 68, died Friday, August 28, 2009 at Firsthealth Moore Regional Hospital.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. Linda Nelson.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Milligan Horne; one daughter, Kris Wyatt and her husband Mark of Youngsville, NC; two grandchildren, Kaela and Liana Wyatt.
Born August 5, 1941 in Scotland County, he was a son of the late Johnnie Lee and Ollie Seals Horne. Billy served faithfully with the US Air Force during the Vietnam War in the Intelligence division. He was a manager with Monumental Life Insurance Company and an avid golfer. He had been known to put on very warm clothing to be able to play a round of golf in the winter. Billy was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Living Word.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Kidney Cancer Division, 930 Wellness Dr., #B, Greenville, NC 27834.
Visitation will follow the memorial service at the funeral home.
