Beulah Mae Taylor, 88, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Scottish Pines Nursing Home in Laurinburg.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 5, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Kenneth Blease and Pastor David Chavis. Visitation will be Sunday, December 4, 2016 6-8 pm at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium and other times at the home of grandson, Chris Taylor, 9421 Cameron Street, Laurel Hill, NC..
She is survived by; daughter, Ethel Taylor Chavis (David) of Laurinburg; son Dewey H. Taylor of Laurinburg; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Jim Erwin “Ervin” Taylor, sons James Ervin Taylor, Julius Norton Taylor, Donald Ray Taylor and brothers William Norton and Pearlie Graham Norton.
Born July 2, 1928 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Lauder Dewey and Loney Hatcher Norton. She formerly worked at Waverly Mills with 30 plus years of service.
