Beulah Dawkins "Bootsie" Jones, 76, died Tuesday, October 27, 2009.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Caledonia United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Patricia Stone. Burial will follow in Caledonia Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel D. "Peter Rabbit" Jones, Jr.; a son, Michael Jones and wife, Marie of Laurinburg; three brothers, Doug Dawkins and Marion Dawkins of Rockingham and Donald Dawkins of Laurinburg; two sisters, Linda Hickman of Southport and Betty Jean Moore of Asheboro; eight grandchildren, Della Hope Jones of Bennettsville, SC, Mikey Jones, Jordan Jones, Amber Jones and Jessica Quick of Laurinburg, Daniel Jones and Blake Jones of McColl, SC, and special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Danny Ray Jones and brothers, Bobby Dawkins, George Dawkins, and Maurice Dawkins.
Born April 9, 1933 in Rockingham, she was also a daughter of the late George and Grace Dawkins. Bootsie was an active member of Caledonia, serving with the Ladies Auxiliary Her life was filled with loving and caring for her family and many special friends.

The family will be receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
