Betty "Inez" Moore Brown

Betty “Inez” Moore Brown, 93, of Troy passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

A Celebration of Life and a get together for family and friends will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the residence of her son, Danny Brown, 151 Tower Rd., Troy, NC, 27371.

Born November 28, 1929, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Bernice Roberts Moore. Inez loved working in her yard, mowing, weed-eating, getting a good meal, and shopping.

She is survived by her son, Danny Brown (Kyllie) of Troy; grandchildren, Alicia, Lanae, Melissa, Whitney, Joelle, and Trisha; and great-grandchildren, Greyden, Brianna, Chase, Joseph, Kairi, Nora, Khloe, Kylee Jo, Wade, Jase, and one on the way, Oakley. She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Andrew Brown; son, Mike Brown; daughter, Linda Kay Brown; and brother, Marvin Earl “Bill” Moore, Jr.

Memorials may be made to the Montgomery County Senior Center, 200 Park Rd., Troy, NC, 27371.
