Betty Brown MacMillan Green, 93, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013.
A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, at Spring Hill Cemetery, Wagram officiated by the Rev. Harry Abernathy.
She is survived by her son, Walter Green of Richmond, VA; and her daughter, Louise Andrews of Wagram.
Betty Brown was born May 12, 1919 in her homeplace in the Riverton community, a daughter of the late John Archibald and Louise Fant MacMillan. She was also the widow of the late Rev. Allen Jones Green. She served in US Navy intelligence during World War II and later taught English and French at West Point High School in West Point, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Scotland County, PO Cox 1033, Laurinburg, NC 28353.
