Betty Wilson Johnson Biddell

LAURINBURG: Betty Wilson Johnson Biddell passed away at Scotland Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 3, 2013. She was born in Benson, NC on February 6, 1930, the daughter of Atlee and Claudia Johnson.
Betty is survived by her husband, Dr. Alexander Jones (Alex) Biddell. Her children are Dr. Amy Elizabeth Heinze of Hillsborough and husband Matthew, David Biddell of Raleigh and wife Melanie, Jim Biddell of Raleigh and wife Laura Jackson. Betty's grandchildren are Forrest Heinze, Liam Heinze, Alex King, Grace Biddell, Drew Biddell and Caitlin Biddell. Her brothers are Charles Johnson of Cary, Rollins Johnson of Smithfield and Doane Johnson of Vass.
Betty graduated from The University of North Carolina Womens' College. She was a skilled needlepointer, loved to travel and was an avid reader. Above all, Betty Biddell loved her family with boundless devotion.
A memorial service will be held at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel on Saturday April 6, 2013 at 2pm.
