Betty Watson Fullum, 85, passed away Wednesday, March 20, at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium Chapel officiated by the Rev. James Sessoms. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Delbert Fullum; her children and step-children: Betty Hale of Maxton, Diane Stinson of Michigan, Robert Lake of Georgia, Mary Appel of Texas, Mike Fullum of Marston and Burton Fullum of Morganton, WV; her sisters, Christine Mormen of Raleigh, Rose O'Brien of St. Petersburg, FL, and Joann Godwin of Tecumseh, MI; her brother, Gene Gainey of Racine, WI; 22 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren, 30 nieces, and 26 nephews.
Born February 27, 1928 in Scotland County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie Gainey and Dollie Mae Watson. She will be remembered for her life long love for God and her love of family.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
