Betty Bullock English

Mrs. Betty Bullock English, 87, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 at her home.
Born October 12, 1928, in Granville County, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Weldon & Lillian Harris Bullock. Betty was a member of Centre Presbyterian Church of Maxton and was the co/owner of English Fence & Windows. She had also worked with Home Security Insurance Company, Cooperative Savings Bank, & St. Andrews University. She was an avid gardener , bird lover, & antiquer.
Betty is survived by: her son, Mark L. English and his partner, James Wolfe of the home; & step-sons, Rodney English of Fayetteville & Michael English of Laurel Hill.
She was also preceded in death by: her husband of 32 years, Louis Preston English; brother, William Weldon Bullock, Jr.; sister, Christine Cunningham.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at Centre Presbyterian Church officiated by Dr. Doug Hix. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at McDougald Funeral Home & Crematorium.
