Bernard Shaw Carver, 88, died Saturday, May 16, 2009.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Alloway Cemetery in Red Springs.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Hales of Laurinburg and Cynthia Gass of Greer, SC; a sister, Bernice Olandese of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren.
Born November 17, 1921 in Brantley County, GA he was a son of the late John and Hannah Melvin Carver. He was retired toold grinder with a tool manufacturing company.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium is serving the family.
