Mrs. Berlene Joyce, 75, of 3513 Card Street, Charlotte, NC, died Sunday, February 9, at Brian Center, Shamrock, Charlotte.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at East Laurinburg Baptist Church officiated by the Revs. Richard Tyson and Robert Campbell. Entombment will follow in Scotland Cemetery.
She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Branch of Charlotte and Wilton G. Branch, Jr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two brothers, James B. Nealy and Elwood Nealy of Charlotte; four sisters, Betty Barefoot of Raeford; Charlene Newsome of Maxton; Pat Baxley of Wagram and Dony Mae Hogan of Burlington, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Joyce and a daughter, Brenda M. Quick.
Born November 28, 1927 in Scotland County, NC, she was a daughter of the late Crayden and Roby Nealy and a member of Kilborne Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the East Laurinburg Baptist Church, PO Box 1846, Laurinburg, NC 28353 or Kilborne Baptist Church, 2127 Eastway Dr., Charlotte NC 28205.
Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium.
