Beatrice Jane Dawkins Britt, 88, of Lexington passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Biscoe Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Tony Sedberry.
Born August 31, 1934, in Montgomery County, she is a daughter of the late Charlie McKinley and Bessie Lee Sanders Dawkins. Beatrice loved to sew and be around her family.
She is survived by her son, Jason Britt (Elaine); daughters, Annette Maness (Robert), Sheila Reynolds (Todd), and Kathy Swaney (Bobby); sister, Edna Jenkins; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Jason Britt; brothers, Junior Dawkins, Carl Dawkins, and one grandchild.
