Barbara Ellen Shepherd Bloxson

Mrs. Barbara Ellen Shepherd Bloxson, 61, of 23320 Crandall Street, died Tuesday, April 27, 1999 in Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Thursday at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Russell Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Hillside Memorial Park.
Born July 11, 1937 in Scotland County she was the daughter of the late Bardon and Lessie English Shepherd. Barbara was a school bus driver for the Scotland County School System and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by one her husband John Bloxson, Sr., a son, John Bloxson, Jr. of Boone; three daughters, Betty Bloxson of Wakulla, Phyllis Bloxson of Dayton, OH, and Doris Bloxson of Wagram; one sister, Joann S. Johnson of Kennesaw, GA; five brothers, Marion Shepherd of High Point, Richard Shepherd of Atlanta, GA, Bill Shepherd of Mableton, GA, Mark Shepherd of Marietta, GA, and Chalmers Shepherd of Huntington Beach, CA; her step-mother, Janie Shepherd of Laurinburg, and one grandchild, Sherry Bloxson Barber of Wagram.
The family will be receiving friends from 7 to 9 PM Wednesday at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium in Laurinburg.
