Barbara Ann Lee

Barbara Ann Lee, 78, of Candor, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at her home.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at Parsons Grove Church in Candor.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Born December 21, 1945, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of the late Duncan Lee and Gladys Campbell Parsons.  Barbara was a good mother.  She was a dedicated and hard worker at Lancer Furniture where she served for over 50 years.  She also liked gardening and was a dedicated member of Parsons Grove Church.

She is survived by her son, Tim Greene (Janet) of Candor; grandson, T.J. Greene (Christina) of Candor; great-grandchildren, Daisy and Sawyer Greene; sister, Evelyn Britt, of Biscoe; and two nieces, Emily Dunn, of Star and Jeanna Morgan of Seagrove. She is preceded in death by her husband, Brantley Lee.

A special thank you to Betty Wilson (Cooter) for helping us take care of Barbara at home.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 PM at Bumgarner Family Funeral Service on Tuesday, September 3,  2024
