Audrey Louise (Richardson) Hurley

Audrey Louise Hurley, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst.

The family will have a private memorial service at a later date.

Born November 5, 1934, in Randolph County, she was a daughter of the late Reese Richardson and Jennie Bell Auman Richardson and her stepfather, Rankin Richardson who raised her from the age of two.  Audrey attended and supported Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church for many years.  She enjoyed working in the yard, cooking and taking care of the home.  She was always working.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, James Boyce Hurley of the home; her sons, Ken Hurley of Kola, HI and Jeff Hurley and his wife, Celia of Sydney, Australia; her sister, Joann Williams of Star; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hurley and his wife, Lorna of Hortense, GA and Michelle Hurley of Brunswick, GA; and her great grandchildren, Chelsea Hall and Tyler Hall both of Brunswick, GA.  She is preceded in death by her son, Michael Hurley.
