Mr. Artis Nathaniel Pate, 51, of 214 McLaurin ave. died Friday, November 17, at his residence.

He was born June 13, 1949 in Bennettsville, SC, a son of the late Lonnie and Betty Virginia Heron Pate.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Slaughter Pate; two sons, Jimmy Ray Pate of Evansville, IN and Justin Michael Pate of Richmond, VA; four brothers, Bobby Pate, William Pate, and Junior Pate of Laurinburg and Everett Pate of Virginia; three sisters, Betty Hurley, sally Clark, and Ann Hunt of Laurinburg.
