Anthony Butterfield "Tony" Leonard, 60, of McQueen Road died Wednesday, July 26, at his home.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church officiated by the Rev. Dr. Nick Mager.
He is survived by a son, Michael Leonard of Raleigh; a brother, Tim Leonard of Boca Raton, FL; a sister, Susan White of Richmond, VA.
Born August 21, 1939 in Albany, NY, he was a son of the late George and Julia Butterfield Leonard. He formerly served with the US Army, was a former science teacher at Scotland High School, a former tennis pro, and a dog trainer.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the home of Sue and Larry Schultz, 705 Highland Dr., Laurinburg.
