Anne Gutowsky Shields

Anne Jeronne Shields,86, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Services will be private.

Born in San Francisco County, California, she was the daughter of the late Albin Joseph and Mary Edna Bell Gutowsky. Anne was an excellent seamstress, loved watching the birds and butterflies, and reading. In her youth, she was a Navy brat and had even once traveled through the Panama Canal. Anne was also very patriotic- Go Navy!

She is survived by her daughters, Rachelle Moody (Ricky) of Troy, and Monique Howard of Los Angeles, CA; and grandchildren, Bethanie Moody, Jessie Jaden, and Julian Howard.
