Mrs. Anna Augusta Turner Capps, 87, a resident of Carolina Manor of Cary and a former resident of Robinwood in Kernersville died Friday, December 25, at Western Wake Hospital in Cary.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Hillside Memorial Park in Laurinburg officiated by the Rev. James F. Thompson.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Ann Ford and her husband, Gilbert, of North Myrtle Beach; three sons, Lawrence L. Capps, Jr and his wife, Betty Jo, of Little River, SC; Gene Capps and his wife, Patricia, of Winston-Salem, and Kirby Capps and his wife, Linda, of Cary; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was born March 7, 1911 in Person County, NC and lived most of her life in Laurinburg. Her husband, Lawrence L. Capps, preceded her in death.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium of Laurinburg is serving the family.
