Ann Marie Mason

Miss Ann Marie Mason, 15 year old daughter of Jim and Lynn Moberg Mason of 1205 Shepherd Avenue died Wednesday, August 23, in an automobile accident.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Laurinburg Presbyterian Church officiated by the Revs. Nick Mager and Elizabeth Forester. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Hannah Mason of the home; her paternal grandparents, James W. and Dorothy Mason of Pinehurst and the late Nell Mason; her maternal grandparents, Donn and Juanita Moberg of Laurinburg; her maternal great grandmother, Frances Moberg of Galesburg, IL.

Born in Laurinburg on January 27, 1985, she was a rising sophomore at the Landmark School in Prides Crossing, MA where she was a member of the soccer and Lacrosse teams. She lettered in both sports and was also awarded as the most improved player. Ann Marie enjoyed photography and was an active member of the Presbyterian Youth Fellowship.
