Ann Steed Freeman, 58, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2014 at her home.
A funeral service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium and will be preceded by a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Bryan Freeman (Emily) of Laurinburg; her daughter, Keri Garcia (Adam) of Laurinburg; her sister, Geraldine Outlaw; and her granddaughter, Brynley Ruth Freeman. She was preceded in death by her sister, Fran Steed Hobart.
Born November 13, 1955 in Robeson County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Harriett Norton Steed. She served many years with McNair Investment Company and later was an office manager for Southeast Farm Equipment.
Ann lived a rich life where she enjoyed making others happy. She loved gardening and decorating with her creative skills. Whenever possible she loved traveling and counted two weeks in Rome and cruises amongst her favorites.
