Mrs. Angela Boger Rumph, 39, of 22940 Broadwell Rd. died Thursday, October 11, in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Laurinburg Presbyterian Church officiated by the Revs. Nick Mager and Elizabeth Forester. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Wagram.
She is survived by her husband, Tim Rumph; a daughter, Amaryllis C. Boger of the home; her mother, Lillian Boger of Owings Mills, MD; brothers, Emery Boger of San Francisco, Sheldon Boger of London, England, and Wayne Boger of New Jersey; sister, Janaire Boger-Zerbini of New Jersey; half-sister, Sandra Cunningham-Simms of Greensboro.
Anglea was employed in the Exceptional Children's Department of the Scotland County School as a caseworker. An active member of Laurinburg Presbyterian Church, she was the teacher of the 3M Sunday school class, an originator and leader of the children's Presbyterian Peacemaker Program, a member of the Handbell Choir, a church lay leader, an assistant with the Girl Scouts, and assisted the Deacons with communions.
Angela was also a bagpiper with the St. Andrews Pipe Band and won a Blue Ribbon in piping at the Flora MacDonald Highland Games on October 6, 2001.
