Alton C Parsons

Alton Clark Parsons, 91, of Biscoe, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026 at FirstHealth Hospice & Palliative Care in West End.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Guiding Light Baptist Church in Star, officiated by Rev. Mark Medlin. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.

Born May 2, 1934, in Montgomery County, he was a son of the late Charlie Beck and Ola McCaskill Parsons. Alton was the owner of Parsons Cabinet Shop in Biscoe for many years. He could build anything out of wood, from cabinets to houses and even Grandfather clocks.

He is survived by his son, Ronnie Parsons and wife Jackie; daughter, Karen Bodsford and her husband, Keith; brother, Mitchell Parsons; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Parsons.
