Mrs. Alma McLemore Kennedy, 93, formerly of Laurinburg died Friday, January 25.
A graveside service will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Hillside Memorial Park officiated by the Rev. C. F. McDowell, III.
She is survived by a son, Ken Kennedy and wife, Lisa of Shallotte; a sister, Ethel Bell of Atlanta, GA; a granddaughter, Destiny Kennedy of Ash.
Born December 25, 1914 in Barnwell County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Emma Kennedy McLemore and widow of the late Tommie Kennedy. She was the office manager and bookkeeper for Hood Autos, later City Autos in Laurinburg for forty years. She was also an active member of the First Baptist Church where she had served as a secretary and the Laurinburg Pilot Club.
