It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Allen Clarke Suttle, 66, on March 9, 2017.
Clarke was born in Danville, VA on July 8, 1950 to the late Clifford Otis and Nancy Clarke Suttle.
Aside from family, he so loved the NC mountains, especially Elkin, NC, his job as a Building Engineer, and his beloved Taj Mahal in Pinehurst, NC.
He is survived by his wife, Lois (Harding) Suttle, daughter, Lisa Caulder, brother, Mark Suttle, sister in law, Dorothy Suttle, nephews, Brandon and Dustin, plus many loving extended family members.
Clarke was a gentle and caring man who left us way too soon but left us better people for knowing and loving him.
McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium served the family.
