Alfred Kenneth Cagle, 72, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2017 in Trinity, NC.
A funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 3, 2018, at Macedonia United Methodist Church, officiated by the Rev. Jack Luther and Rev. Derald Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Born May 6, 1945 in Montgomery County, North Carolina, he was a son of the late Charles Kenneth and Hazel Taylor Cagle. He was an Accounting Manager with Drexel Heritage Furniture and retired with 37 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Melinda Owen Cagle of the home; a son, Chris Cagle and wife Andrea and their daughter Bethany of Asheboro; a daughter, Jennifer Buie and children, Harley and Eli of Denton; brothers and sisters, Diane Singleton, Charlie Cagle and Joan Shaw all of Eldorado. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Frank Cagle.
The family will receive friends at Macedonia United Methodist Church Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
