Albert Essey, 93, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014.
A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday at Hillside Memorial Park. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Scotia Village.
He is survived by his wife, Reba Woodard Essey; his step-son, Ed Baggett of Laurinburg; his step-daughters, Debbie Howell and Patti Sue Baggett of Laurinburg; his sister, Pauline Nofal of Florence, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
He was born April 30, 1920 in Scotland County and was a son of the late Joseph and Kamelle Bechara Essey.
